The Scaap Kiwifruits de France Cooperative

Kiwifruit growers in the South of France banded together in 1982 to create Scaap kiwifruits de France. Its Head Office is at Labatut, in the Landes. Today, 200 growers produce Oscar kiwifruit. Because they are organized in a cooperative, producers can apply the principles of mutualism and solidarity in their day-to-day work. They make it possible for growers to work under the best conditions.

Since 2003, they have been linked to other cooperatives, via the Union of Cooperatives (union des coopératives) of Adour Kiwi France.

Producers are well aware of how important the environment is to their activity, and are committed to sustainable management of natural resources. They work following the principles of integrated and shared production, with technical advice provided by their cooperative.
